SPIRIT ORCHESTRA is created in 2007 with the main goal of performing originally rearranged for its smaller instrumentation operas, operettas and musicals.Using the natural timbres of the string instruments combined with the richness and the range of the piano, the ensemble is able to achieve a sound very closely approximating that of the full symphonic orchestra, thus making possible the performance of full operas, operettas and musicals or any part of them.
The musicians themselves also undertake dramatic leads in the performances along with the singers and dancers engaged with the projects and in that manner help create the illusion of “fullness” on stage.

Soloists of the orchestra are Bulgarian and European singers, dancers and actors.
In November 2007 the orchestra was invited by an English theatrical agency to coproduce a show with prominent operatic singers – an initiation which led to 3 months long concert tour in the UK – England, Scotland, Ireland and Wells. Due to the worm welcome of the “enchanted” audience and the success of the partnership, the orchestra is invited to repeat the tour the very next year.
